Wills
Standard Wills are £155 + VAT (£186) for a single person and £235 + VAT (£282) for a couple2.
For each additional Will trust, we charge an extra £200 + VAT (£240) per Will.
Changing joint ownership to Tenants-in-Common
First property is free if done at the same time as a trust Will.
£200 + VAT (£240) for each registered multilateral severance.
£300 + VAT (£360) for each unregistered or unilateral severance.
Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA) and Advanced Directives (Living Wills)
£165 + VAT (£198) per document. A reduction of £50 + VAT (£60) per LPA is offered if done at the same time as a trust Will.
An additional £150 + VAT (£180) per document applies if you also require us to register it for you.3
Lifetime Trusts
Pilot Trusts (to protect insurance and death-in-service benefits) £450 + VAT (£540) for the first one for each client and half this amount for subsequent ones.
Family Protection Trust (to avoid probate and possibly protect assets from being used to pay for care) £1,995 + VAT (£2,394).
A reduction of £500 + VAT(£600) is offered on additional trusts.
Storage and Update Services
SafeStor £15 + VAT (£18) per person per year.
ClientCare4 £35 + VAT (£42) per person per year.
1. Prices valid until 31/12/2011. VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate. The figure in brackets shows the total price including 20% VAT.
2. Supervised signing at our offices is available free of charge. If you require this elsewhere we charge £50+VAT (£60), plus 80p+VAT (96p) per mile over 10 miles.
3. The Office of the Public Guardian may also charge a registration fee in some cases. The fee is £120 at the time of publication.
4. ClientCare includes reminders to review and free updates within the same complexity band.
